A touch of love

I am jealous of Tylor’s lunch-times.
I’ve never met Tylor. However, I know he is a guy from Portland, Oregon, in the USA. I also know Tylor is an INTJ, and has a lot in common with me, because I’m an INFJ. I know all of this because Tyler also has a blog.
However, the only thing I know about Tyler that makes me jealous is this: his wife, Rose, packs his lunch everyday. I am jealous because it is not just any lunch, it is a lunch made with a touch of love.
This got me thinking about the power of simple things. With a tiny little bit of effort everyday, one or two minutes perhaps, it is possible to tell someone you love them in a special way.
For example: It will be awesome if my wife was to hide a little note somewhere for me to find everyday – perhaps in one of my pockets, or in my laptop bag, or my wallet.
I’m not married yet, so I can only imagine this, but it will probably result in a mini-search everyday, that I’ll anticipate as much as a six-year-old boy about to get an ice-cream.
So, take those two minutes, and do something to make someone feel special.
When you’re done, why don’t you share your own touch of love secrets and ideas by leaving a comment, or writing your own post? (I’m looking for some tips and hoping my future wife will get to read them too.)

I put little notes in my kids’ lunches each day. On the napkin I just let them know I love them or a scripture. Anything to encourage them.
I also make a lot of homemade gifts for our family (blankets, clothes, handbags) just because…to show them I’m thinking of them constantly.

Little things have always made me happy. This is such a great idea. My husband packs his lunch every day – his choice because he is picky – but he and I will always send random text messages during the day telling each other that we love each other or that we are sending hugs. I can’t wait to go and read Tyler’s post. Thanks for the post Francois! It’s great to be back on the blogging world!
