A tribute to Alexander Forbes

Tuesday, May 26th, 2009

If ever there was a company that should have its licence suspended, it is Alexander Forbes. It was the main offender in the secret profits bank account-bulking scandal. In the 1990s, it facilitated the stripping of the surpluses of a number of retirement funds, to the disadvantage of pensioners and members. Alexander Forbes did this [...]

Who owns the South African Reserve Bank?

The South African Reserve Bank (SARB) is a privately owned central bank. In fact, it is possible for almost anyone to buy shares in the SARB. Since its establishment, the Reserve Bank has always been privately owned. Today the Bank has more than 630 shareholders and its shares are traded on an Over the counter [...]

AIG bonusses and bailouts. Load of bollocks.

Monday, March 23rd, 2009

I’ve just read yet another stupid article about the $165 million AIG paid out in bonusses, after they recieved $170 billion in a government bailout. Perhaps the fact that the government is actually giving bailouts (which means the USA taxpayers are giving bailouts), instead of letting companies suffer the consequences of their actions.

Monday, October 20th, 2008

Now image if conditions on Earth before Noah’s flood allowed animals and man to life much longer (man’s long lives were recorded in the Bible and there are some very good explanations why things lived so long before the flood.), how will a Crocodile look like if it is 500 years old, a Comodo Dragon that is 700 years old, a Chameleon that is 800 years old?

Evolution? (Part 4 – Science and God)

Monday, October 13th, 2008

In Danie’s detailed response to my first post on evolution, he mentions the following about why he is so interested in scientific evidence that points to the Earth being only about 6000 years old: What if the world accepted the scientific evidence that the world and universe is thousands of years old, rather than billions of years?

Evolution? (Part 3 – Creation via Evolution)

Friday, October 10th, 2008

So, do you think it is possible that Earth is in-fact 6000 years old, and was in-fact created in six 24-hour days, but that God still used evolution as His way to create Earth and everything on it?

What is Faith?

Thursday, October 9th, 2008

Studying them can go on forever, and become very exhausting!Solomon, The Preacher (Eccl 12:11-12) If your belief (or disbelief) in God is based on some scientific proof, your belief is only as solid as your scientific proof.
