		<description>I agree with your statement that pride rooted in thankfulness is good.

I also believe that ungodly pride means that you believe you are responsible for your abilities.  Like if you go and help someone or you do something nice for someone or if you are really good at something - you take the credit for it.  All we are, all we are able to do is because of God.  We are here for His glory.  He alone is why we are good at what we do, or why we have the skill to be able to do a certain thing.  The job and the money we &quot;earn&quot; are given by Him.  Our home - everything we have is not ours, it is His and was given from Him.  Believing that we have anything to do with that is lying to ourselves.  That is pride - Ungodly pride.  Everything is for God&#039;s glory. ;)</description>
